American bills (paper money) are all the same size, mostly the same color, have no raised signs to help blind people "read" them, and show mostly old American presidents and famous buildings and monuments, etc. They also all say, "In God We Trust" (= we believe that God will protect us).

Americans tend to not take such good care of their bills. Some Americans even write or draw pictures on them. If you can read the numbers on American money, you can usually use it.
